THE NINETEEN RECEIVER

Every few minutes the receiver says NINETEEN. It is not a voice exactly.
It is an identifier pushed through a speaker designed for weather.

When you answer with silence, the receiver continues. When you touch
the tuning dial, the station clock moves backward by one minute.
