Twitter is a figurative "deafening roar of people talking with fingers in their ears". The company itself has no problem banning/censoring anyone that causes millennial's anxiety. The quintessential like/reply system of social media creates an echo chamber of perception. Twitters engaged audience, is generally disdainful of anyone that they disagree with.
On the other hand we have 4chan, called the "Internet Hate Machine" by some. It is the embodiment of free speech in it's rawest form online. When you go on 4chan, if you can be offended, eventually you will be offended. Anyone can freely post anonymously anything they wish. The anonymity allows one to take up any side of any argument without needing to explain past comments or be minimized because of opinions or gaffs that or not related to the current topic.
Even though 4chan has millions of visitors daily, it doesn't make money. How could it? What company would be willing pay for ad space on a site that allows the public to freely say anything they want? Childish boycotts against advertisers that force shows off the air and ruin careers are called for daily. No large advertiser would ever think of being involved in something that allows truly free speech.
So it is fantastic that someone cares about free speech so much that he is looking into buying it for everyone that wants it. Milo Yiannopoulos is looking to purchase and fund 4chan's operation. Unlike Social Justice Warriors who are seemingly only interested in stifling free speech.
Yes, a Brit wants to protect our first amendment rights from the blizzard of 'precious snowflakes'.
