I happened to be driving through a very Republican part of the state today and you know what stood out? Not the flags. Not the churches. Not the gun shops.
It was the giant billboards for adult bookstores. Plural. Massive signs, side by side, like a pervert’s Mount Rushmore. Three in a row, all screaming about the same place.
Now let’s pause. These folks do know the internet exists, right? I’ll assume so. Which raises the question, what exactly is going on in these places that still justifies brick-and-mortar porn stores in 2025? Whatever it is, business must be booming.
For all the talk about “family values” and “protecting children,” the hardcore GOP seems to be pretty into hardcore. Use that info however you want. I’m just saying...
