Most folks use OBS straight out of the box — and it’s great for that. But if you know just enough to be dangerous, you can start building your own tools and really push the graphics side of things.

I’ve been working on a custom remote-control window for the Nitetime.net overlays. I used to manually swap titles and switch movies myself. Not anymore. Now everything runs through slick graphics, real-time controls, and a full playlist system I built from scratch.

It’s been a blast turning OBS into my own little broadcast studio.
