I have a lot of other things going on in my life right now. Looking for a job, working on nitetime.net… well actually, mostly just that.

But I wanted to stop for a moment and say something nice and loud:

Let me explain.

Yes, Jaden Smith is the son of Will Smith. And honestly, think whatever you want about Will Smith. Personally, I think he should just accept that he's a cuck and go disappear somewhere with his weird wife. But that is not what I am talking about here.

I am talking about Jaden.

Here is the key thing people seem to miss: Jaden Smith works for the French luxury brand Christian Louboutin as their first ever Men's Creative Director. In that role he oversees four yearly collections for men's shoes, leather goods, and accessories. He also influences brand campaigns, events, and all the weird immersive fashion stuff they do.

Go look up those products. Shoes start around $1,200.

That brand is not for anyone I know. That brand is for yacht people. The G-Wagon crowd. The absurdly wealthy.

So when you see Jaden walking around in wild outfits, carrying something like a dollhouse as a bag, and everyone online starts mocking him… you do realize something, right?

He is literally at work.

What do you expect him to wear? Board shorts and a windbreaker?

The guy is being paid a huge amount of money to design and wear that look. Someone smart enough to sell $3,500 handbags decided he is the right person to represent that brand.

If you ask me, Jaden is doing just fine. He is just doing his job.

Honestly, it is probably exhausting to never be able to leave the house without an hour of wardrobe, styling, and makeup.

So if you somehow have deep hatred for that guy, you might want to ask yourself why. Because from where I am sitting, it kind of looks like people are hating on someone who is just… working.
