R.C. AND PENNY CHOOSE FIGHT
---------------------------

Having injected Catalyst #4, R.C. is determined to destroy every threat before
it stirs. The pain in his ribs seems dulled, replaced by almost manic resolve.

Penny, silent no longer, is back with a vengeance. The fear in her eyes has
turned cold. "Time to put these abominations down before they pick us off,"
she mutters.

THE ASSAULT
-----------

R.C. charges deeper into the corridor, half-limping and half-running, with a
freeze grenade in one hand and a machete in the other. Half-burned console
lights flicker over his sweat-streaked face.

Penny flanks him with a recharged stun baton and a pistol holding only a few
bullets. They discover the half-open door to an auxiliary chamber. An
unsettling hiss echoes from inside. R.C. throws the grenade. Frosty vapor
erupts, blocking our view.

When the fog clears, two half-animated corpses twitch inside the swirling ice.
Penny gives them a savage jolt with the baton and finishes them with a headshot
before they thaw.

The real test lies beyond another sealed partition. A single red light flashes
overhead and a guttural roar rumbles from behind the metal door. This is not
just another leftover zombie. It is something bigger, meaner, and possibly
more cunning.

PARTIAL VICTORY, GROWING PERIL
------------------------------

The direct attack destroyed a few smaller threats, but only half the remaining
corridor is clear. R.C. leans against the wall, adrenaline surging. Penny
reloads with shaking hands. The roar reverberates again, louder--like a giant
heartbeat pounding on steel.

Some survivors cheer. Others believe we have triggered something monstrous. I
cannot tell whether the Catalyst is fueling R.C.'s boldness or pushing him past
his limit.

The locked door's interface blinks "SEQUENCE ENGAGED." A screen flickers with
another message: "SUBJECT 3... TISSUE REGEN ACTIVE."

STILL HALF LEFT
---------------

Penny and R.C. want to finish the job, but brute force may not stop something
that regenerates. The corridor lights paint everything in sporadic shadows.

What is your approach?

Fight -- Hit the subject before it is fully active.
Sneak -- Slip behind the assault to sabotage it or find an advantage.
Improvise -- Rig a trap from Catalyst, freeze grenades, and lab gear.
Persuade -- Coordinate the survivors; brute force alone might fail.
Loot -- Search for a killswitch or a specific vulnerability.

We are seconds from meeting something rumored to be unkillable. Will pure
aggression work, or is strength alone useless against Subject 3?
