GAME/BLOG INTRODUCTION
----------------------

Welcome back, steadfast survivors, to Tracks of Terror: The Last Train to Save
Your Butt. I'm Barnabas, standing in the icy remains of Car 14, where our
once-unstoppable monster lies frozen but not necessarily dead. Penny and R.C.
have one thing on their minds: Fight. Finish the abomination before it thaws.

Deep inside EmergenTek's Car 14, we discovered grotesque subjects that do not
go down easily. We froze the latest regenerating beast with a supercharged
cryo system. But time is ticking, and if it breaks free we'll be back where we
started--only weaker and more desperate.

R.C. AND PENNY BOTH CHOOSE FIGHT
--------------------------------

Adrenaline and Catalyst #4 still course through R.C.'s veins. Though battered
and bleeding, he refuses to let the monster get a second wind. "No more half
measures," he growls.

Penny is done waiting. "We hack it to pieces now or die trying," she declares,
eyes locked on the motionless, ice-encased figure.

THE DUAL ATTACK
---------------

Ignoring his injuries, R.C. limps forward with a blade raised. With a primal
shout, he smashes the frozen shell and chips away large chunks of ice and
necrotic flesh. The subject twitches and one arm lurches upward, but it cannot
break the thick frost. R.C. drives his blade deeper.

Penny circles behind the half-frozen torso. She drives her weapon into every
crack and weakness, widening fractures and breaking the creature's limbs. A
point-blank shot into its skull sends shards of bone and ice scattering. A
sickening hiss of air or fluid suggests they have torn something vital--if a
creature like this has vitals.

OUTCOME: IS IT TRULY DEAD?
--------------------------

Together they reduce the regenerator's upper half to something less than
animate. Frozen chunks of flesh litter the chamber and twitch feebly. Yet
greenish-black ichor seeps from the stumps. Muscle fibers continue to wriggle,
possibly seeking pieces to reattach.

Penny stomps a cluster of tissue into icy pulp. R.C. slumps to one knee,
panting but victorious for now. Several survivors keep their distance. If any
piece can regenerate, are we only staving off the inevitable?

Subtle clue: One barely functioning monitor reads "Cell Regeneration 10% --
ERR: Tissue Fragmentation." It might mean the monster is partially alive but
unable to coordinate a comeback--or it might be a countdown to re-fusion.

SILENCE AMIDST THE ICE
----------------------

At last, the monstrous figure ceases thrashing. Car 14 lies in ruins, its cryo
vents pumping cold vapor, wires sparking, and debris everywhere. R.C. leans
half-conscious against a console while Penny stands guard over the shredded
remains, her weapon slick with gore and frost.

For the first time in a while, it is quiet. No moaning undead, no roaring
experiment--only melting ice and the wary breathing of survivors.

YOUR MOVE
---------

Fight -- Keep swinging until no flesh remains.
Sneak -- Scout the rest of the train while others clean up.
Improvise -- Incinerate or jettison every fragment.
Persuade -- Regroup and decide whether to lock down or abandon Car 14.
Loot -- Search for intel or proof of the monster's permanent demise.

Car 14 might be ours, though it is battered, blood-soaked, and freezing.
Tomorrow we learn whether this is victory or whether EmergenTek's secrets have
more in store.
