PROJECT DESIGN NOTE
SCREEN COMPOSITION RULES
1. GIVE THE SCREEN A CENTER OF GRAVITY
A major plot or object should dominate.
2. RESERVE TELEMETRY ZONES
Do not scatter text anywhere it fits. Use stable bands or corners.
3. REPEAT VISUAL LANGUAGE
Same border weight, same label style, same coordinate ticks across modules.
4. USE NEGATIVE SPACE
Dense does not mean every pixel occupied.
5. MAKE ACCENT COLOR MEAN SOMETHING
Target, warning, selected vector, new solution.
6. ERASE ONLY WHAT MOVES
Full-frame clears produce flicker and make the system feel like a slideshow.
7. BUILD, HOLD, RESOLVE
Let a display have a small narrative: initialize, analyze, converge, transition.
8. KEEP IT LEGIBLE ON REAL HARDWARE
The most sophisticated composition is useless if composite/RGBI output turns it
into mush. Favor strong geometry and readable labels.
