========================

An eight-panel landscape Sunday comic in heavy black ink and painted amber,
rust, olive, deep blue, and phosphor green. Ace is the same lean, dark-haired
man in a rust-red shirt, dark vest, jeans, and silver headphones established
in the earlier issues. Jack is stockier, with sandy hair, a short mustache,
square glasses, an olive work jacket, and a tool belt.

They abruptly appear beneath a starry sky in NITETIME.NET GOPHERSPACE. The
landscape is made from old Internet hardware rather than abstract neon:
beige server cabinets form hills, telephone wires fill the sky, cables cover
the ground, and glowing green Gopher menu lines become paths between round
burrow doors.

A trail terminal now lists ACE-AND-JACK under comics. Opening the entry shows
the three comic issues, including this one. Jack uses a large selector marked
GOPHER and FILES, revealing that the same comic gallery can appear as a menu
or as physical file drawers. They walk through and return to the exact archive
corridor visited earlier.

A central machine then makes the relationship explicit: one NITETIME.NET
archive is cabled to FILES, GOPHER, and RADIO. Ace peers through impossible
connected doors and sees himself from the opposite side.

The wide final panel shows all three services at once. File cabinets, a
Gopher menu, and a radio display each expose the same Ace-and-Jack material,
while every glowing trail curves back toward NITETIME.NET. Jack's map is a
circle. When Ace asks where they are, Jack answers, “Yes.” The final caption
reads ONE PLACE. MANY DOORS.
