the line and ISSUE-004 trails behind. They remove a DUPLICATE card and arrange
folders numbered 001 through 005 in order.

The new ISSUE-005 release is presented as a pre-flight packet containing the
comic, README, manifest, and checksum list. Ace feeds it into a brass CREATE
machine. It travels through transparent tubes to an FTP / FILES checkpoint,
then reaches a Gopher menu that lists issues 001 through 005 once each and in
order. A green screen confirms GOPHER: LISTED.

In the wide final panel, the complete publishing machine resembles a handmade
airplane assembled from server racks, vintage electronics, wooden wings,
wheels, cables, and a front propeller. A carved gopher wearing aviator goggles
sits on the nose. A board shows green checks for FILES, GOPHER, and SEQUENCE.
Ace works a radio-like flight console while Jack stands beside the aircraft
with a wrench. The open garage faces a starry sky, and the caption announces
READY FOR TRUE FLIGHT.
