NITETIME MUD // SPOILER-LIGHT WORLD GUIDE ========================================= NITETIME.NET GARAGE Your starting hub beside Lake Koshkonong: part radio station, part workshop and part late-night Wisconsin accumulation. Its work order, receiver and terminal begin the first investigation. BROADCAST AND CONTROL AREAS Studio 608, the Control Room and Tape Archive hold broadcast gear, signal monitoring and old recordings. Some equipment participates in introductory investigations; other props provide atmosphere. COMPUTER AREAS The Nitetime BBS Room, Server Closet and Terminal Lounge contain several generations of computer and network equipment. They can be explored, but a working BBS or old-computer operating system is not currently a gameplay system. WORKSHOP AREAS The Workshop, Parts Cage and Fabrication Bay contain tools, parts and ongoing projects. Most props are descriptive. There is no general crafting system. ROOF, ANTENNA WALK AND EXTERIOR The roof and maintenance walk overlook the station and lake and serve as radio-survey locations. The Parking Lot leads toward the county road, while the Equipment Shed holds gear used by the field-radio investigation. COUNTY ROAD The road connects a late-night diner, aging motor court and radio tower approach. These places are explorable. The tower participates in field radio gameplay; the diner and motor court are mainly environmental. LAKESHORE The Night Shore is an early story location. The old dock and boathouse offer atmosphere, clues and an observation site. Boat travel is not implemented. HIGHWOOD TRAIL The trail reaches woods, a clearing and marsh overlook. Curious inspection at the marsh can earn an optional discovery. No combat is required. The live world also contains progression-sensitive infrastructure and a deeper anomalous location. This guide intentionally withholds route names, requirements, layout and descriptions. Explore and let your character's progress reveal what is available.
