"Spiderman: into the Spider-verse" is really good. I am not really a "cartoon guy" (outside of ATHF, R&M, FG, D&D... no honestly I don't usually watch cartoons...). At the beginning I was thinking "Man, why didn't they just film this IRL" but then the story kicks in and it totally works. The movie not only has a solid story but some really interesting visual effects and sequences. The low frame rate bugs me at points (looks like 12fps, not 100% sure, but it seemingly dips pretty low at some points). But, I get it, they made a moving graphic novel. If it was always super smooth the whole time it might have taken away from some of the effects when they kick in. Pretty good story, Aunt Mae is a badass, Peter Porker and Peni Parker are there... Yea, not going to lie, it was as good as Kevin Smith says it is.
