Penny and I have been into watching Indian movies lately. Tonight we watched "Sooryavanshi". It is about a terrorist sleeper cell that gets called up and has a bunch of explosives. The cops fight back and try to stop them, in the 3rd act a cop from a totally different movie that we had last night "Singham" shows up and pitches in on helping fight them. It was just completely mind-blowing to see a character from a totally different film show up in this film!
These movies are amazing and have over-the-top action, yet none of it looks low-budget.
Dear Hollywood, why do your movies stink nowadays??
The one clear message we got from Singham and Sooryavanshi, you do not mess with cops in India... if you do, will be talking to Jesus, Shiva, Vishnu, Allah, or someone else in another plane very quickly.
