One of the silly things I have purchased in the last year was a handheld CB. It has turned out to honestly been one of the best purchases. I don't know why these things went out of style. If you regularly drive on the interstate you should think about investing in one. Whenever there is trouble on the road the trucks will let you know. I also feel good having a way to tell trucks when they have a loose load or lights out. I linked to the model I bought, it plugs right into the cig lighter. I invested an external antenna too since the small antenna doesnt work good in the car. You can find them for about $40 and they have a magnetic base to easily put it on and take it off my roof. Think about it, I am glad I purchased it.
