OK, I know I am a huge geek.. BUT, the "Milwaukee Radio Amateurs' Club" is running FM SIMPLEX CONTEST on February 27th. I am super excited. I am a tiny small fish in the ham radio world, but I have a 2Meter FM radio and a half-decent antenna now. So between 1 and 2pm I will be trying to talk to as many people as possible. More info on their site if you happen to have a UHF/VHF radio.

This will be my first competition day. I might have bought a new radio to cover more bands, shh, don't tell Penny.
