NEEDLE OF RAIN

A needle.

Thin enough to look artificial.
Dense enough to hide whatever is behind it.
Persistent when surrounding rain changes direction.

Radio logs show a rising tone as the Needle forms.

One theory says it is a local expression of a fold in space.

Another says the rain is merely showing the shape of something
normally invisible.
